Jerk and Jack

A sandwich full of flavor and spice

And made from leftovers to make your life easy!

T his is one of my favorite ways to make use of leftovers because it tastes so good, you'd swear you made the chicken for this sandwich and not as an entree for dinner!

A hot sandwich needs bold flavors to make an impact worthy of the person enjoying it.

The Recipe

This is an example of a recipe that takes advantage of other ingredients that were made for other meals. This helps make your meals easier to put together!

The above shows all the ingredients and appliances you're going to need to make this delicious meal.

What you'll need

  • Bridget's Jerk Chicken
  • Bridget's pickled peppers
  • Sliced pickled peperoncinis
  • Two slices of your favorite cheese (I prefer pepper jack, but sometimes I'll mix it up and use two different slices!)
  • Two slices of a grainy bread (I prefer Ezekiel bread)
  • A few leaves of lettuce
  • A tiny drizzle of oil (I prefer peperoncini italian herb olive oil)
  • A dash of salt (I prefer smoked Malden or fleur de sel)
  • A dash of ground black pper
