Ingredients
- 2 ounces Michter's US 1 Straight Rye
- 1 ounce Cocchi di Torino sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: Luxardo maraschino cherry

Pull your mixing glass straight from the freezer so it is thoroughly chilled before you begin.

Combine the rye, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters in the cold mixing glass.

Stir with cold shards of crystal-clear block ice, preferably stored at −4°C, until the drink is well-diluted and silky.

Strain into a chilled coupe.

Garnish with a Luxardo maraschino cherry and serve immediately.
