Hot Toddy
Ingredients
- 1½ oz rye whiskey or bourbon
- 2 slices lemon
- 5 shakes angostura bitters
- Small barspoon honey or ¼ oz honey syrup
- 6 oz hot water
- Fresh nutmeg, for grating
Recipe
- Squeeze lemon slices into a mug.
- Add bourbon, honey, and bitters.
- Top with boiling water and stir to combine.
- Grate fresh nutmeg over the top and serve.
